I found a home about 2 months ago, but I happened to find it after it had an accepted deal. Now here is the problem. The agent did not place the home as pending and continued to show the home not to mention she did not disclose that there was already an accepted offer. Well doesn't that just make you happy when you call them after you decide you are going to write an offer to have them say that it is already pending. I was just ecstatic. Obviously I tried to find out when it was supposed to close, so I could keep an eye on it. Then when the agent finally put it pending guess who had sold it. Can't figure it out can you? Well if you said some random agent then no. The listing agent sold the home. I was even more happy to find this out. Now it makes me question whether or not the house was even sold at the time. How and why does an agent care if they double dip? It only makes sense if you get more than just 2 deals out of it, but even at that just sell the home the way it should be. I have kept tabs on this particular home, and now it has been over 2 months ago this went pending. I have since tried calling the listing office and their voicemail box is full. They seem to be ontop of things. My question is how long will this go on? The longer this takes to fall through the better the deal will be, because typically everytime a deal falls through on a bank owned home they lower the price. I hope it works out.
