Michigan Mortgage Rates are some of the lowest rates that we have had in years. One bank has a one year ARM that is under 4%. That is an amazing number, but the biggest problem with a loan like that is you will incur 2 sets of closing costs within 1 year. This could offset any amount of savings.
The best Michigan Mortgage Rates right now are on 5 year ARMs. Todays 5 year ARMs rate is 6%. This is for a cash out mortgage. If you are doing just refinancing for a better rate the rates will be better than 6%.

This article will give a number of people looking to buy or sell an insight as to how the market is doing in general. Michigan people as well as other states will tell you their market is the worst.

How true is this statement? I love it. This will describe most of the great hockey players that I played with during my career.
The ones that moved onto the next level were typically the ones that did a little bit more than the other guys. I was one of those guys.
I carried this over to the business that I am in now. This is why you see me posting early in the morning, and super late at night. I hope that posts like this help people to stay positive and get through their tough days.
I know this is a real estate blog, but we all need positive things to read, so I figured this is as good a place as any to post motivational, and inspirational quotes.

Rate watching is becoming a real common trend with people anymore today, but one thing I will advise people is to proceed with caution when looking to refi, because it is not going to be the easiest thing to do in Michigan. This is in large part because of the housing market being so bad.
The banks are trying to eliminate loans that are cash out above a certain Loan to Value, which is difficult to even get a true appraisal on anything in Michigan. Banks have officially started viewing foreclosures as part of the housing norm. If you are looking to refi the first thing we will need to do is order an appraisal and allow the banks to beat that up, and then the rest of the loan process will be pretty easy.
Mortgage rates were at 6% today. on a 5 year ARM, and 6.375% on a 30 year Fix.

How true is this. I personally have seen this way too often. People that are complacent with where they are in life i.e., their life, job, income, relationship status.
I have been the guy that is always striving to do better. I was fortunate enough at one point in life to play professional hockey. Eventually I decided that it was time to move on, and get a job/career. As for those that are less observant I got into real estate.

This makes sense to me in that you don't want to have a policy as to what is someone's best, because that can vary on a daily basis. Work hard each and every day and you will see positive results.

I went into the office today, and found out that due to the market there are a number of agents that are getting out of the real estate business. I have found that a number of people love to tell you what they are going to do instead of them just going out and doing it. Here is the quote.
